Frequently asked questions
We only allow refunds up to 60 days before your retreat dates begin. If you are within 60 says of your retreat, you cannot be refunded your money if you cancel.
We are located in Kingsport, Tennessee. Our retreat is only 3.6 miles from I-81 and 6.6 miles from Route I-26. This makes us extremely convenient to find, and enjoy your well deserved trip.
We have enough room for a maximum of 10 quilters.
Yes! The longer you stay, the less you pay per person per night.
Two night stay: $115, per person, per night
Three night stay: $100, per person, per night
Four nights or more: $85, per person, per night
We are so thankful that most of our rooms are on the main floor. Only one room is on the second floor. We love this because we want to make it as easy as possible for you to have a comfortable stay, and we know that for some people stairs can be challenging. Our front porch also has a ramp that makes it very easy to walk into the house from the driveway with your sewing machine!
We do not allow pets at our retreat house. We love our furry friends, but they have to stay home for this trip.
Although we love children, we do not permit anyone under the age of 18 to be a guest at our retreat house.
Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
We do not include meals with our stay, but we do have a luxurious kitchen with ample space to cook, store your food, and enjoy time together. We have a small eating area in the kitchen, and a large dining room that can accommodate all 10 guests. There are also a plethora of great restaurants that you can visit or order from local.

A quilt retreat house is a place for quilters, or crafters, to come for a vacation. The house is completely yours to enjoy, relax, and work on your personal projects. We supply a beautiful and relaxing home, and you and your group can come enjoy the beauty of Appalachia.
