Rates & Accommodations
Our Cottage can accommodate up to 10 guests, and we have a minimum allowance of 6. If your group is less than 6, you can still rent our house, but you must still pay the minimum for 6 guests for each night you stay.​

Accommodations:
Our house has 4 total bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 upstairs. Besides the several showers, our main bedroom also includes a spacious jacuzzi tub. Additional to the numerous amenities, we make our beds with the Triple Sheeting Method for extra freshness and cleanliness for our guests.
Our large kitchen includes multiple ovens, a large gas stove, beautiful quartzite countertops, two refrigerators, and plenty of storage for food and meal prep. We are sure that our kitchen is stocked with any smaller appliances you need to make your stay as easy as possible. Coffee maker, kitchen aid, food processor, etc. Enjoy complimentary coffee each morning before you start the day. Our spacious dining room can seat all 10 guests comfortably so that your whole group can enjoy meals together. We also have extra seating in the kitchen.
Our laundry room is available for our guest's needs as well.

Our sewing room is situated in our beautiful, climate controlled, sun room that offers perfect natural light for working. Each quilter has their own 6 foot table with comfortable a rolling chair and their own outlet for the machines, and phone charging. We have multiple cutting tables and ironing stations as well. Our design walls will also assist our quilters as they create their beautiful projects while enjoying their stay at the Cottage.

Our spacious living room allows for plenty of room for talking, playing games, watching tv, and whatever activities our guests may want. In the evenings sit with a drink outside in the courtyard, or enjoy the large front porch, and enjoy the beautiful weather of East Tennessee.

Deposit
We require a $300 deposit when you reserve your dates for your retreat. One of the best methods we have seen our guests use to organize payments is this: The groups will designate a "planner" for the trip. This member of the group is the one that is in contact with us at Cliffside Cottage, and they pay the deposit while they collect the rest of the payment for the reservation. The entirety of your reservation payment is due before 60 days before your retreat. If your payment is not made, your reservation will be canceled.

Your payment for your reservation is due 60 days before your retreat begins. ​We want to make the payment process as easy and simple as possible for our guests. We offer the options to do Debit, Credit, Check, or bank transfer. We use PayPal and Venmo for your convenience.

Credit / Debit: When paying with a debit or credit card, a 3.4% fee will be added to the payment.
​
Bank transfer: This option comes with no extra fees, and is one of the simplest ways of paying quickly and easily.

Retreat Cancellation Policy:

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes cancellations may need to happen. We can provide full refunds only until 60 days before your retreat dates. When within 60 days of your retreat, no refund can be made.

Comfort & Safety:
Children: Although children are precious to us, we do not permit them as guests at our Retreat House. Only guests 18 years and older are allowed.
​
Pets: We do not permit any pets to stay at our Retreat House. We love our furry friends, but we want to consider that safety and comfort of other guests.
​
Smoking/Vaping: We do not permit smoking or vaping on the Cliffside Cottage Premises. Smoking/Vaping is not allowed in the back courtyard or the front porch since the smoke can travel inside. Thank you!

Liability:
While we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, Cliffside Cottage, and its owner, cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or theft of personal property during your stay. By reading this agreement, you release the owner from any liability arising from attending a retreat on the Cliffside Cottage.
Accidents happen: if property at our retreat gets broken or damaged, please, think of your quilters, and get in touch with Carol as soon as possible. When we are aware of issues, we can address and remedy them before our next group arrives, ensuring the best quality retreat for all our crafty guests.
